I did a little editorial photo shoot for Oregon Wine Press about a month ago and went to the farm that Meriwether’s Restaurant runs. I was sorting through some of the photos again and found this completely adorable farmer in front of his tractor, and had to bring it back. Meriwether’s is truly a farm to table restaurant, meaning that they meticulously plot out a rotation of vegetables to maintain their needs so they order very little from distributors. It’s incredible. It’s the true definition of farm to table. And, while at the farm I had a little piece of the most amazing arugula I’ve ever had in my life, so they’re doing something right.
