On October 7th, come join me as I open “A Simpler Time,” a First Thursday group photography show in downtown Portland.

“As we prepare to elect a new congress we inevitably are inundated
by talking heads telling us about a simpler time, way back when
things were black and white, when the choices are easy. This black
and white photography exhibit asks the question of what is a
simpler time?”

My friend JP has been spending
a lot of time at Wieden + Kennedy as part
of WK12. So, she and fellow 12ers decided
to move in (yes those are cookie silhouettes and
yes they are the greatest thing ever). No, really. They
slept at work. Neat. Read more here.
I had a wonderful time at Crafty Wonderland
this weekend. It was hard not to spend my
earnings on all the other awesome vendors,
though I did buy one print from the always
awesome Jill Bliss. Abby’s table looked awesome,
as did Pin Ball Publishing, and oh-so-many others.
I did update my Etsy shop with a few more goodies,
and I’ll get around to putting a few more neat things
up soon, so stay tuned. A special high-five for all the
friends who came to visit, and extra love to boyfriend
and Jess for keeping me company.
